Who is behind the scenes at Foam on the Range
Hi, I’m Hank. Some of you may be wondering what’s happening at Foam on the Range. Whether you have been a customer, know a customer, or know the owner, we will get it all straightened out. Steve, as those of you who fall into the former categories know, was the owner for about 20 years. Steve has actually been spraying since 1997, with a different business for the first 10 or so years. After that much time on the gun, he decided he might need to pass on the knowledge and the skills and gear up for retirement. Now as any of you that know him should know, that wouldn’t be a few signatures and a wave goodbye. If you reach out and call us this year, you’ll still get to talk to Steve as he is doing the bulk of the estimating and the question answering over the phone.
In early 2026 Steve reached out to a relative of mine whom he’d foamed a house for. That relative had mentioned that I would be back from my enlistment in the service in the near future while Steve insulated the house. Having already decided to start pointing towards selling the business, he made a note and continued on. Bringing it back to early 2026, Steve reached out to me about buying Foam on the Range. We found common interest and finalized the sale in August.
That leaves me to talk about. As stated before, I’m Hank. Originally I’m from the North Shore, but have moved to the Brainerd Lakes Area to be closer to family. I’ve spent most of my working life in residential construction besides about 6 years dedicated to highway heavy construction and heavy equipment mechanic work. I own Foam on the Range as of August, so you’ll be seeing me around.
If there’s anything left to answer, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Thanks!
